Achieving Road Safety improvements in Welshpool

I managed to achieve important safety improvements to the Orrong Road/Pilbara Street intersection in Welshpool that had become a death trap.

After applying some pressure on the relevant agencies the Department of Main Roads has put in place a temporary speed limit near the dangerous intersection and confirmed that work to install a set of traffic lights will begin mid way through 2009.
